As I sit beside my window
gazing out among the trees
Around the limbs and through
the leaves, Imagine what I see
A tiny little blue bird perched
in her nest, feeding her young
Next to her is another bird
singing a song, so well sung
On the ground below them
is a cat nurturing her little ones
As they open their big blue eyes
to welcome the bright morning sun
I am startled by a deer
running out of the Forrest
Suddenly I realize the miracles
mother nature has put before us
Flowers full of beautiful colors
blooming all year ‘round
Trees and grass of different greens
for reasons yet unfound
Seasons that gracefully change
Four beautiful times a year
But one miracle left unspoken
is our children we hold so dear.
